Camp Hope
“Keep looking up. That’s the secret of life.” – Snoopy
Welcome to Camp Hope!
Camp Hope is a free, one day summer camp for kids and teens who have experienced the death of a loved one. Events include hanging out with other kids who’ve experienced loss, crafts and memory books, swimming, fishing, water slides, water balloon battles, face painting, and more.
Volunteer
Anyone wishing to volunteer with this program must be at least 16-years-old and attend one mandatory training session at the Hospice Office, located at 405 S. Marion Street. The office is located between
Whitt’s BBQ and the courthouse.
“Buddy Volunteers” are paired one-on-one with a Camper to hang out and enjoy the day! Your job for the day as a Buddy Volunteer is to help make it the best day ever for your Camper!
